Mercy and Justice/Missions

We feel that the church is at its best when everyone uses their natural gifts, abilities, and resources to serve the community and the world to be part of something bigger.
We serve, interact, give financial support, and partner with the following. . . .
Under the Stars Ministry for homeless men and women by providing a hot meal every Wednesday evening at St. Johns UCC on Mound St. Columbus Ohio
Community Food Pantry by volunteering and donating food, providing holiday baskets, Tools for Schools,  and gifts for children in the Christmas Adopt-a-family program.
BREAD organization (Building Respect Equality and Dignity) where we unite with many faith traditions to create a more JUST society.
Christian Mission Church of Nicaragua (La Mision Cristiana) where our High Schoolers travel every four years to experience the culture of the people, worship, and do service in another country.
Kairos Prison Ministry by providing cookies for the Kairos Weekends in April and October.
Fair Trade Coffee provider to empower coffee bean farmers to get a fair price for their harvest, help workers create safe working conditions, and provide a decent living wage.
Disaster Relief Kits for communities effected by natural disasters.
